  • Q How to solve the common problems during steel tube cutting by steel pipe fiber laser cutting machine?

    A

    1. The laser tube is cut normally, without burrs, and the cutting is good.

    Reason: correct power and cutting speed.

     2. The laser cutting mark deviates from the bottom, and the cutting bottom is wider.

    Reason: The cutting speed is too high, the laser power is low, the auxiliary gas is small, and the focus position is high.

    Solution: Reduce the cutting speed, increase the laser power, increase the air pressure, and reduce the focus position.

     3. There are slag-like burrs on both sides of the bottom of the slit, and the drop shape is easy to remove

    Reason: fast cutting speed, low air pressure, high focus position.

    Solution: Adjust the cutting speed and increase the air pressure.

     4. The slag on both sides of the bottom of the slit sticks together

    Reason: The focus position is high.

    Solution: Reduce the focus position.

    5. The slag on both sides of the bottom of the slit is difficult to remove

    Reason: The cutting speed is too high, the auxiliary pressure is low, the focus position is too high, and there are impurities in the gas.

    Solution: reduce the speed, increase the air pressure, adjust the focus position, and use gas that meets the purity requirements.

     6. There are burrs on only one side of the bottom of the slit

    Reason: The nozzle center is not good and the nozzle hole is not round.

    Solution: Adjust the nozzle center and replace the nozzle.

    8. There is no burr, the cut is inclined backward, and the bottom of the cut is narrow

    Reason: The cutting speed is too high.

    Solution: Reduce the cutting speed.

     

    9. There are corrosion pits on the cutting surface

    Reasons: the air pressure is too high, the cutting speed is low, the focus position is high, the material surface is corroded, the material is overheated, and there are impurities in the material.

    Solution: Reduce the air pressure, increase the cutting speed, reduce the focus position, and use good materials.

     

    10. The cut surface is very rough

    Reason: The focus position is low, the air pressure is high, the cutting speed is too low, and the material is overheated.

    Solution: increase the focus position, reduce the air pressure, increase the cutting speed, and cool the material.

  • Q Who is more professional in tube pipe steel laser cutting machine?

    Since the beginning of our establishment, our company has focused on laser tube cutting solutions. For various industries, such as steel and wood furniture, agricultural machinery, fitness equipment, kitchen and bathroom kitchen utensils, elevator manufacturing, etc., create specialized pipe cutting technology solutions. There are small tubes and thin tubes cutting, and there are solutions for large tubes and heavy tubes.

    At the same time, we independently researched and developed a semi-automatic rear chuck feeding, which can complete pipe feeding within 15 seconds. At the same time, we have also developed automatic pipe feeding equipment, which is suitable for almost all shapes of pipes, and solves the special pipe feeding problem that cannot be solved by domestic and foreign counterparts. In addition, we solved the problem of pneumatic chucks. The common pneumatic chuck in the market is generally a 4-cylinder design. We exclusively use an 8-cylinder design to increase the clamping contact area and make the clamping more firm and stable. The original square hole chuck achieves a larger tolerance space for square pipes.

  • Q What is difference between plasma and fiber laser cutting?

    Plasma cutting can be used to cut metal, from thin plates to thick plates (several millimeters or tens of millimeters). The slit is usually wider than the laser slit, and the heat input into the part is significantly higher, and in some cases the cut surface is rougher . Compared with fiber laser, plasma cutting is generally considered to be a less accurate method of cutting sheet metal. Historically, the advantages of plasma cutting over fiber laser cutting are cutting thick plates and low-cost cutting of less precise sheet metal parts. Fiber laser power is increasing rapidly at an increasingly economical price, and each year is making thick plate cutting more precise. For example, using a 10-12 kW fiber laser system can cut 50mm thick stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum with high quality and high speed. It is foreseeable that in the future there will be even more movement in the direction that is beneficial to the fiber laser between these two processes.

     
  • Q How thick can the 10000W fiber laser cutting machine cut?

    In the era of CO2 laser cutting, the maximum power of the laser was limited to 6000W. The thickness of early fiber laser cutting plates was also limited to carbon steel within 20mm and stainless steel within 12mm. Thicker materials still use fine plasma, wire cutting or waterjet cutting, etc. Traditional processing technology. 10KW fiber laser cutting is the first revolutionary change in the field of sheet metal processing, which is the continuous improvement of the thickness of different materials (Figure 1): aluminum alloy plates can reach 40mm, stainless steel plates can reach 50mm, with 12kW and 15kW With the continuous introduction of fiber laser cutting machines, the thickness limit of material cutting will continue to be broken.

    In addition to the increase in cutting thickness, the cutting efficiency of 10,000-watt laser cutting in the field of medium and thin plates is also improved by multiple levels. When cutting stainless steel plates with a thickness of 3-10mm, the cutting speed of the 10kW laser cutting machine is more than twice that of 6kW; at the same time, the 10kW laser cutting machine can achieve a fast bright surface of 18-20mm/s in the application of carbon steel cutting. The cutting speed is twice the ordinary standard cutting speed; it can also cut carbon steel within 12mm with compressed air or nitrogen, and the cutting efficiency is six to seven times the speed of oxygen cutting carbon steel. The efficiency of high-power laser cutting of thin plates has greatly surpassed people's past imagination, which is the main reason why high-power laser cutting machines are popular in the sheet metal market.

  • Q What is the cutting thickness of the laser cutting machine?
